Care Instructions

Follow these simple steps to ensure your wares remain in good condition and give you years of enjoyment and good night sleeps.

Washing Bedding

Sheets like lots of room to get clean, so don’t stuff too much into one load. Your washing machine will thank you for it.

Wash sheets separately when you can to prevent other items from getting balled up in them. If you do wash other items with sheets, try to ensure they’re lightweight and similar in colour.

Turn your duvet cover and pillowcases inside out (or place in a delicates bag) before washing. Use a cold wash cycle to ensure the colour to remain vibrant for a longer period.

Drying Bedding

Line-drying is the best way to keep your sheets in good condition.

Avoid direct sunlight and allow the sheets to dry in a cool and dry place to avoid unnecessary colour fading and sun damage.

A gentle tumble dry is not advised but an acceptable alternative during the rainy season.

Storing Bedding

Keep your sheets in a dark, cool and dry space. Protect them from dust with the fabric bag we provided. That’ll also keep your whites whiter than white.

Avoid storing them in plastic containers, which can trap in moisture.

Ironing Bedding

Linen is designed to have that relaxed slightly creased look, so there is no need to iron your linen like you may have done with your cotton bedding.

Detergents & Cleaners

It is recommended to use gentle liquid detergents (not powders) and ensure the detergent does not contain bleach or optical brighteners that are known to weaken the fabric and cause discolouration.

When placing the detergent in the washing machine, ensure you use the washing machines dispenser and avoid placing the detergent directly onto the linen (as a chemical reaction can occur with certain laundry detergents).

For stubborn stains it is recommended to simply use bicarb soda as a natural stain remover.
